What Our Patients Say…

I had tried different treatments for my elbow in the past. Before my first appointment at Houston Spine & Sports Medicine, I couldn't even pick up a glass of water. But within a matter of days following my first injection, I knew it was going to be a success!

I just completed Ironman Florida. The race took me 13.5 hours. I would not be running if it were not for Houston Spine & Sports medicine. It has been a journey with injury, rehab and recovery over the past 2 years. I feel I am stronger and faster after treatments.

A year ago, I had a major flare-up from a 20-year old ankle injury. Every step caused me pain. The doctors at Houston Spine & Sports Medicine used ultrasound and were able to identify why it was hurting so badly. With the help of PRP injections, nutritional support and some time, I am now pain free!

After struggling for years with debilitating back and pelvic pain and visiting one doctor/ physical therapist after the next without progress, I had begun to worry my condition might never improve. Thanks to Houston Spine and Sports Medicine and PRP, however, my pain has been greatly reduced and I’ve been able to return to most of my previous activities. The injections aren’t cheap and they can be uncomfortable, but it’s definitely worth it and Dr. Lehmann and his staff truly go out of their way to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Thank you for helping me to get my life back.

Was suffering from left ankle pain following a sprain, limping and unable to exercise. I made no progress with PT, and had seen a podiatrist who diagnosed me with a “barely attached and non-functioning ligament” and said surgery was my only option. I went to Houston Spine and Sports Medicine and did 5 or 6 prolotherapy injections with incremental improvement but still was unable to exercise without pain. Finally had the PRP procedure and now I’m back on the elliptical machine and walking for 45 minutes, pain free!!!

I have had many PRP treatments from Houston Spine and Sports with great success. It helped with tears in my hip and gluteal and my knee. I had painful tears in my hip and steroid shots did not work. I also had a meniscus tear in my knee and PRP healed it. I am not experiencing any problem with these areas any more.
